Only way could have the information is from a recent hospital visit as he asked for me buy full name, they are the only ones with anything other than my initial for middle name.

This is another SCAM trying to collect money for some "injured veterans" group, which to my knowledge is not legitimate. I told him I do not take solicitations over the phone and to remove my number from his list. Asked to speak to his supv. and he hung right up. No goodbyes so go figure. I believe this # to be a scam. They had partial information & wanted me to verify additional. When I questioned them I was threatened with criminal charges for an alleged bad check offense from 3 +/- years ago. When I asked to speak with a supervisor the caller got nasty and hung up on me. I called again this morning and now mysteriously my information is not in their records. Again when I ask for a supervisor I'm hung up on or put on hold when I call back.

Called me to tell me my Visa card was used for a $400 Ebay transaction at 4am this morning.
He said my credit card number beginning with 45 (All credit card numbers for Visa start with 45 in Canada). Wanted me to give him my credit card number, when I said you should have this info, he switched and asked me if I had a TD debit card. I said no, and he knew I was on to him, he politely said the charges would be reversed and hung up. Lots of noice in the background

This is a scam. They are trying to collect money by asking for your credit card to make a payment. The problem is they can't tell you who you owed money to. The women have strong accents. They give their company name as IPS. I called IPS and they said they do not call to collect money. I googled this number and there are a lot of complaints. They put you on hold to find information on who you owe money to. Wouldn't they have that already? They get all excited when you say you are going to give them money. When you don't, they say they are going to send a server out to your house. I told them that when they say that, they are definitely a scam. They hung up on me.

Man called stating they were a local contracting company and asked if I had any work to be done. When I said no and asked that he placed me on the do not call list he stated he couldn't. He said his company was big and he was just a small branch. When I asked for the name of the company again he stated he already told me. I'm sure this to be a scam. When I tried to recall the number it cannot be called back. Be careful not to give info to people over the phone before getting there info first.
