IRS scam from officer Johnathan Knight badge 06719. He has a very heavy Indian accent and hard to understand. The message said that he is from the federal investigation devision of the IRS. There is fraud on our taxes and we need to call him back right away on his direct line. He never gave that number but since I know it's a scam I wouldn't call it anyway.

I called the IRS at their real number 800-829-1040 and let them know. The IRS said that is not one of their numbers and to call the IRS Scam Line at 800-366-4484 to report it.

Just got a phone call from this Indian lady, calling herself Susan Samuel. She threatened if I don't pay $3156 to her through the phone immediately, I will be arrested in 2 hours and jailed for 2 years. Losing all properties, house, cars... I asked her why not sent the notice to me through the mail. She said it's confidential and said a IRS person came to my house twice with lot of documents but nobody at home. I told her, of course nobody at home, because I have to go to work to make money and pay tax. I asked her to tell me when you will send another person and I will wait him at home. Then she said, pay me now or you will go to jail. I told her, this is America, you do not send anyone to jail like that, even IRS. This is malicious scam call to scare you to pay her money. I checked IRS website, it says thousand people got scammed and lost over 5 million dollars. If you receive a call from this Indian lady, tell her that you'll contact the police.

Recorded message stating I was being sued by the IRS and God help me and good luck if I didn't call back immediately. As this was a new number, I called back and he never asked my name, became abusive and then threatened the FBI and police when I questioned him hard. He hung up on me!!

240 547 2488 is an IRS scam. The individual began calling me a n****r and telling me I wanted to s*** his***** after I called him out on the scam. Level 3 Communications has been informed of the issue with this number, as well as, the Prince George's County Police Department. Level 3 Communications did not seem very motivated to discontinue this number which is directly associated with their organization. The publicly traded stock company is proving why it is a horribly run organization for investing anyone's time and money. The initial agent I spoke with a Level 3 Communication (Jeffery Montoya) was extremely condescending insisting he was going to control the conversation and refusing initially to reveal his name.

I just got the same call supposed to be IRS and was instructed to call because I owed money on my taxes. I was suppose to call a Kenneth Webster who was the supervisor. A man with a heavy Indian accent demanded that I call his supervisor. This creep had my name cell phone number and my employers address. When I called the number back it sounded like a call center. I said I was told to call right now , what seems to be the problem. He said give me your phone number after I gave him my name in my introduction. I said I am not giving you any information until you explain to me my I am calling a supervisor who is supposed to be in an office and I hear all the call center chatter in the background. What foolishness is this and he hung up. Clown... Idiot.
