I received a call the other day, also from a man with an Middle Eastern Indian ancect. He asked me some of the same questions as above and for my fax number. I hestinantly gave it to him and then after getting off of the phone thought twice about my actions. Well, today I received a very official looking fax from Domain Registry Support notifying me of an URGENT NOTICE OF DOMAIN EXTENSION. They are basically trying to get you to sign up for a .us website of the same name as your .com or whatever. I believe they are hoping to catch people off guard thinking that their web domain is expiring or that somone has tried to tie up there account. Oh well, I threw the fax away and went on with my day.
