I was waiting to pick someone up, and chatted them up for 30 minutes (I don't think there is a way to catch these folks, so I just try to have a little fun with them). I pretended to get really excited. Asked them again and again about the money. I told them how much I really needed the money to buy slim jims, spam, and lucky charms. How delicious each of my favorite foods were.
They had my address which sucks. They wanted to know my age and my credit card number. I then said, you know, you will get into very serious trouble for doing this... then the "Government Grants Department" representative hung up on me.
This is a total scam.
