No response, including no recording, when answered. A google search showed the number belongs to a company called Matthews, Pierce & Lloyd, a debt recovery co. We don't owe any bills, so the google info could be old or the debt collection agency is fake or is using working telephone numbers for something. It's not always good to call a number back, but this time I did.
A recording started saying how to remove your number - a do not call list - but don't do it. I hung up before message finished from the same number they called to. Do Not Call lists do nothing but bring you more calls than you got in the first place. This is some sort of scam.
