We were called 4 times today.
9:35, 9:52, 12:05 and 1:48
Each call was the same voice with a different message saying to press 2 or 3 to be removed from their call list. Of course I wasn't home at the time so all of the messages were on my answering machine, but when I am home, I've tried to press 2 or 3 to be removed and it is futile! I've also pressed 1 to talk to a representative and started to ask them to remove me from the list and they HUNG UP ON ME while I was in mid-sentence!
Whatever company this is, they use a bogus number that is used on their caller ID. (I was watching the national news one night and there is a web site that lets you use a bogus number on your phone to call people!)
We've seen the following numbers as well, same messages:
804-234-9000
757-990-8981
Very annoying! I can't believe we are allowed to be harrassed like this because I signed up with the DO NOT CALL list. Amazing!
