It depends what you want to do and where you will be in Cuba which part of the isnlad will you be going to?If you're going to stay at an AI, about $1200-2000 for both is good to budget if you plan on doing a lot of day trips and excursions, going to some restaurants (depending on the area you're visiting), buying a lot of souvenirs (and major pieces like art, leather, etc), buying water and whatever little things at the resort if you want, and for tips even at the AI.You generally won't need much more than that actually.Personally, for me by myself for a 2 week trip to Cuba, I'd spent about $600 which included kind tipping, souvenirs and whatever other purchases without excursion costs. If you don't want to take that much cash with you, you can use a non-US based credit card for cash advances and trip/excursion bookings and payments. Don't change all of your money over all at once since whatever you won't use in CUC will need to be exchanged back to your money coming home CUC have no value outside of Cuba.Make sure to keep $25 CUC per person for departure tax in your passport for returning home.Other than, you're good to go. You will most likely find that you may not need all that much but budgeting that much is a good back up.Have a great trip.
