Interesting. I'm being sued by the IRS. Considering that the IRS conducts ALL communication via US mail, I know that this call is a scam. Oh well, I played this voice mail for my family and friends and we all got a good laugh out of it. Don't ever call these idiots back or acknowledge their calls in any way (ex: press 1 to remove from list, etc.) as the will put your number on an "active number" list and you will actually get MORE calls from other scammers. Check out the November 2015 issue of Consumer Reports for more information on protecting yourself and the February 2016 issue of the same magazine for info on IRS scams like this. These scammers are also using telephone number 509-643-4447.
