This call was trying to extort money from the business. He claimed he was from the "disconnection department" of PGE (Portland General Electric) and that I had not made the required payment. Service would be disconnected by 4:00pm. today unless payment was made. I called PGE to verify that payments were made and they said they do not have a "disconnection department". The information has been forwarded to the corporate security department at PGE. Apparently there have been numerous victims of this scam.
