My mom received a call from this number and the caller stated they were her grandson, she replied by saying her grandsons name and the caller claim he needed money for a car wreck in Mexico City. My mom believed this person to be her grandson, the caller told her not to tell his parents about the car wreck. The caller claimed he was on spring break in Mexico City with a group of friends and they are in trouble if they can't come up with $3,200.00. My mom sent the money by MoneyGram to Mexico City Wal-Mart branch, it was picked up by someone with no ID who claimed to be her grandson. The same caller phoned her two days later claiming to need another $3,300.00 to pay for the damage to city property or he will go to jail, she tried to send the money through MoneyGram again but they stopped her telling her it was a scam. So everyone needs to beware of this scammer and do not under any circumstance send money by MoneyGram. She has reported this to our State Attorney Generals Office, the FBI, the FTC and the FCC and they all say sorry but they can't help recover any money. It would seem to me that with all the technology the government has they could find this caller in a heart beat and put them in jail.
