"She" said that it was my final notice that the IRS has a lawsuit against me. Duh. The IRS doesn't work that way. They always send paper mail. Also, I've never received a first notice or any other notice. Furthermore, the call came to my cell phone which is based in Central NY. I moved to Florida over 2 years ago and use a land line down here and have filed two tax returns from my new address in Florida. I did not answer the call but heard the voicemail they left. While the caller ID said the call came from 607-363-9777, the message said to call them back at 202-864-1220.
