I received a call on Friday saying that they were trying to serve court papers on me at an address that I lived at 5 yrs ago in another state. they gave me the number of 626-532-1278 to call and said it was to burk and partners. I researched burke and partners and found that it was not a law firm in ca., but different type of company on the east coast. They even called the company where I work. When I asked why and who was sueing me, I was told that the papers were sealed. The company I work for is a security company and we also do process service, and I no for a fact those papers are not sealed. when I called the number, all I got was voice mail for a Samantha stephens.
