I am a dispatcher and one of our local police officers said that he got a call saying that he had a warrant for his arrest out of Hawaii. Person asked him for personal information and badge number. I also got a call from the same number. I told them that I heard it was a scam and after they assured me it wasnt, they asked me where I worked. I told them I worked at the sheriffs dept and they hung up the phone.
