I'll bet many of you, like me, would love to meet some of the callers and find out what make them tick. Most have bad grammar, hence no education. They threaten and say things they have no idea what they're talking about.
I used to love the Microsoft live callers because I'd catch them at their own game. With no intention of giving them any good info, I would taunt them with BS information. Then I would fabricate words and terminologies.
I'd pretend to be a antifraud cop or an IT specialist or ask them how their last Christmas was or what do they want for their birthday or say "hello, my name is Bobby, what's yours?" just to get their goat.
My wife said why would I do that? and I'd reply because they wasted my time with an old known scam so why can't I have some fun too?
As much as some of us know about these scams and are able to mess around with the bad guys, it's equally important for us to inform people that are seniors and live alone. They need to know just to hang up, repeatedly until they stop calling.
