They started by mispronouncing my name, then verifying my address. When asked what I could do for them, they stated they were attempting to collect a debt for Qwest/Century Link for an address that I lived at years ago, but did not have a Qwest/Century Link account at all while living there, and told the person that. They then went through a list of companies/services, asking if I had any services through those companies. I said, "No, I didn't have any of those services." "What services DID you have?" "None of those." And then she kept asking me to hold on a minute, and I told her it would help to have her information up and available before she called people, and she said that it had been up, but only JUST went down. Yup, ok. Then after I refused to tell her the services I had at that address (none of which were any that she listed), she asked me to hold a for a minute, and put me on hold. I then hung up. I tried to call back to get a company name/address, and got an automated message that it was a debt collection agency and calls may be recorded for training purposes, but no one actually answered, so I hung up. There was no business name included in the automated message, either.
