I got a text message that said it was from my local bank and I needed to call them regarding a security issue. I knew it was a scam because I do not use that bank. When I called the number provided in the text message, there was a computer generated recording saying they regretted to inform me that my debit card had been locked. In order to unlock it, I needed to enter my 16 digit card number...at which point I hung up.
