Threatening phone calls that there is a warrant out for my arrest unless I pay a payday loan (which I have never taken out). Person knew my name and my physical address. This guy had a serious accent and I could hardly understand him. I heard about this happening to people on the news, they are told they have a debt and they have to pay it or else legal action will be taken. The caller asks the person on the phone to meet them at the courthouse, once the person arrives at the courthouse they are told to wire money somewhere. Scam! What is scary is that they have personal information. How can this happen?
