This person called, knew my name, job title, company name, and e-mail address. He said he was from Intel and Associates. He asked if they could send me a whitepaper on virtual devices. I agreed to the whitepaper but didn't say "Yes" to agreeing to receive further communication from the company.
Very noisy call center background and lots of static on the line. The gentleman on the phone didn't sound like a native English speaker. I was wondering if the originator company had some process in place to try to make additional phone contacts for legal reasons, so they could legally send more marketing type communication within an established "business relationship."
