They just keep trying but I won't fall for their BS. I keep getting calls from a "John Henderson" ya right, with a thick Indian accent. He said the same thing, there was a lawsuit against my SS#, then he asked me what my SS# was...so I said well you should have it if there's a lawsuit against it. Then he said he was representing United Cash Advance, a company that has over 500 websites and local store front businesses in my state and that I committed fraud by taking out a payday loan and stealing money from them. Now, I do have an online payday loan, but not with this company. So I instructed the man to send me the court papers and he said he would send the legal department and my local police to have me arrested. I laughed at him which angered him. I then said well if I have a "supposed" defaulted loan with United Cash Advance, I want you to send me a copy of the license to practice lending in my state, a copy of my signed contract and all the payments that I'd made up to date. He said...and I quote "who do you think you are?" So I replied, one of the smart ones that won't get conned into a scam, go ahead, send your "legal dept and my local police." He hung up on me.
I'm sure John Henderson will call again and I'll tell him the same thing.
