The caller at first did not ID himself or the reason he called. Kept asking if you are"So and So" and if this was my ss number.
After telling him who I was, he ID himself and the nature of the call and transfered me to a counserlor name Scott who said I owed $32,000 in a student loan which was for $8,000. Said I had not made a payment since 2009 which was wrong! I haven't made any payments period! IRS takes my taxes returns yearly! second I got the loan in 2003 not 2002 like he said. I have a bad vibe about these folks, they wanted the names of three people I know their phone numbers which I didn't have availble at the time, plus he hinted at wage garnishments ( I'm unemployed and have been since 10/10) gave them an old address, and a bank account I don't have anymore once I figured they weren't cool. The guy said he would call 6/10/11 to get more info....good luck! I plan to go after them! FTC, FBI, Calif States Attn. etc; If by chance they find out the bank I'm with and getting retirement, and they try to go after my money....I know where they are and their hours etc; hear about them in the news! BANG!!!
