Called seven times in one day, saying they were Edward Nash of Law Offices of Oscar Gamble. returned call; they were looking for an estranged family member we have not seen in 11 years. Stated there was an "association" between long-lost family member and our home address and phone number. Truthfully told them we do not know whereabouts of family member, were told that we would "go to jail" if we did not reveal location of family member. Stated family member was wanted for "theft of property" and was facing jail time. Freely identified that this was regarding a debt to Aaron's rent-a-Center in another state. Stated again they were a lawyer/lawyer's office. Currently seeking information on location to file a suit under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Several violations on recorded phone call.
