'Gayle' asked for my niece, Courtney (and used her maiden name 6 years ago) - she said Courtney had to contact them because a debt she had was being sent to collections and would jeopardize her credit. This debt was discharged thru a bankruptcy. I was given a file number that did not match the file number given earlier when 'Mary' called. I told 'Gayle' we had called and requested the needed information and were hung up on three times and she said there was nothing in the file to say that - I told her my attorney felt it was a scam (which is true since we called from his office). She was adamant that Courtney call back and ask for her supervisor, 'Miss Geri'.
