I received a message today from a woman calling herself Sandra Washington claiming that she worked for a company doing legal mediation for fraud and worthless checks. She stated that she had an individual under investigation and that my name came up as an affiliate of this person. She further stated that I needed to call her office immediately at 956 825-0698 with regards to the case. I called the number and asked the name of the firm, the person who answered the phone said "Hamilton and Lambert" demanding to know who I was.... Having dialed *67 before calling, she had no idea who I was before I hung up....A scam caller trying to shake people down as a fake debt collector, beware…
