Jolene, from the National Breast Cancer Support Foundation, an apparently bogus charity, called today and when asked, refused to give any information about her organization, saying she was not even allowed to repeat the name without getting her manager involved. Her manager, of course, was busy and would call me “later” to discuss the name of the charity. She wanted a contribution and was extremely pushy and preachy when told that her call and her begging without a real charity was not acceptable. She hung up when I insisted on knowing the full name and contact number of the organization.
