Just received a call from someone claiming to be our grandson, yet it didn't sound like him. Said he needed bail money, and was in jail. Yet the phone call didn't come through as a collect call from Fulton County jail, In Georgia. Which is where fake grandson said he was. Didn't want anyone else in the family to be notified either. Said lawyer would call. Fake lawyer called and wanted us to take $1180 cash to a Western Union in Dominic Republic, for fake grandsons bail. While on the phone with the fakers, looked up inmate information and grandson was not listed as inmate. When we confronted fake caller about this information, they said he hadn't been booked yet. When we questioned money wire information, they hung up. We googled phone number and phone other people had been scammed.
