They called my friends, my daughter and ex to advise me to contact them within the day. I called and was told I owed Orchard Bank $1500.00 for a credit card that I allegedly had between 2006 and 2009. I was advised that they had filed a lawsuit and that they were attempting to serve me. I told them I never had a credit card through Orchard. They then confirmed my Social Security number and DOB. I told them I welcomed them filing a suit because I could prove by any signature that I never had this card. They updated my address and said I would be served the following day. It has been 3 weeks. I have called them three times asking when I would be served and they cannot answer it. I call to my County Courthouse revealed that I have no pending actions.
