I received a call on Aug. 8, 2014, asking that I contact or have my attorney contact them right away, because I am going to be sued and served. Of course I contacted them, I was connected to Mr. Benjamin who informed I have a pending suit if I didn't pay them $2,000, or I can settle with them for $1500 or just pay the original amount of $600. I ask for any documentation that he may have and to send it to me. Oh, we can't send you any documents until the suit has been filed. I informed Mr. Benjamin before I give up any money I wanted to documentation. Around 11:00pm that I received an email from Legacy Management Group located at 160 W.Foothill Pkwy #150-151, Corona, Ca. 92883, phone #877679-4214. I googled them and found that Legacy Management Group not located at address and came across scam comments. They have family members and today called by job. Mr. Benjamin ask if I was going to settle, I informed him that I contact the Maryland (where I live)( I did't actually contact the courts) inquiring about any litigation pending for me and was told no. He ask who is Maryland. I said the State of Maryland Court System, Oh no they wouldn't have the information until we file suit,I graciously told him to file the suit, I will be waiting. Who can I contact to stop the harassing calls. (debt was between 2006 -2008)
