BEWARE!!! They text you when you put your number on your local Craigslit, when selling local items. They want your name and address to send a fake "certified check." Don't give them your name and address! They already have your phone number, and with your name and address, who knows what harm they can do? I didn't even put my whole phone number on Craigslist, I put the first few numbers and then spelled out the last two ... and they still found it somehow and began texting me non-stop. As soon as they mentioned that their "movers" would be picking up the item, I ask them if they were in Nigeria.
