this message begeins with "there is no problem with your account" and goes on to offer lowering of interest rates, as per the stimulas bill, and I've received at least a half dozen of these calls, always stating that this would be the last opportunity to lower my interest rate. Of course when the recording starts the greeting is cut off and you never do know who called you except I've looked up the number and found it to be Pac-Tel. I'm on the DNC list but that doesn't seem to help. I was reading another comment board and someone said that if you hit #6 on your keypad while the message is playing, it keeps them from being able to call you back. I do not know for myself however, if it works as I' haven't tried it yet..couldn't hurt! very annoying. I'm glad I let my answering machine pick up these calls and then *69 them.
