I asked the guy to hold. I got back on the phone and asked him for his phone number in the event we were disconnected. This time he wouldn't give it to me. He was EXTREMELY difficult to understand. I made him keep repeating himself. I played dumb to annoy him. I asked all kinds of stupid questions. I grew bored. I let him know that I was going to contact the Texas Attorney General Office's about the call and report the number. I'm on the “Do Not Call List.” FIGHT BACK. Contact your State Attorney General's Office!!! I did so as soon as I got off the phone! Since I found out that this area code is in Florida, I also contacted the Florida Attorney General Office's.
