Got a phone call at my full time job today from my part time job boss - he had told these people to call me on my cell phone to discuss - they went so far as to say that they had collected money from us back in October of 2011, that one of my co-workers had authorized the charges, and even told me that they had bank information on file from our bank (where are account actually is located!). I explained to LORA DAVIS (supervisor) that I did not have any financial information in front of me to pay anything up front (they offered some sort of discount of $200 to pay immediately), but said if we had the bill faxed or mailed to us that it would be $828. I told them well, I guess you will have to send it out because I was not able to authorize payment.
Thought everything was overwith when my boss called me AGAIN today, because a different lady called him and said I had authorized the immediate payment yesterday and that he was to give them the banking info. Thank goodness he called me before doing so - then the same lady again called me (at my full time job) so I told her to stop bothering me, as I thought we had all of this resolved YESTERDAY. I did some research today using a reverse phone # lookup and found several comments with regard to this similar to mine. If they call again, my boss told me he is going to keep them on speaker phone and tell them he is calling our attorney on the other line just to see what they do/say.
