This caller has called twice (once about two weeks ago) and one time last night. (I had called my local police dept. and they said it was a scam and to record the next message which I have). I have an mp3 file of it as evidence. The transcript is vague and doesn't make sense.
It sounded like a man in his 30's or 40's with a Boston accent, with some loud sounds in the background. He sounds like he's trying to be an official. He said the following:
Scott P---- I'm calling again to inform you that you had the opportunity to contact to confirm handling your
charges. Sir at this point I have actually verified in the interest to proceed to the former claim. There are
charges or any claim against you, you have until I reach you PERSONALLY to address this matter or confirm.
Again they can be reached at 866 268 7764. Your claim number listed on this order is going to be 1891620.

Got robocall with initial msge "to lower your credit card rate press 1". I had this scum before. Plessed 1. Horrible accent. Could not understand any word. I asked to speak slower. the accent got even worse. I asked not to call me. The guy on the other end said something back I couldn't understand what, but I can guess it was some kind of curse and disconnected. I am just curious, someone spends money hiring these people in some countries to call us for what? Does anyone have any statistics of damage they make? what do they do? get card #'s? accounts? personal info? who would give them this?

This guy called and said I was overcharged for my subscribtion, he said I was being transferred to another department for a credit, I wasn't put on hold or transferred, the phone was handed to another guy, the manager, I asked the company name and he was rude, I told him I would like to be mailed the information, he became irritated and told me he is cancelling my subscription, I called the number back after hanging up and asked to speak with a supervisor, the phone wasn't put on hold and I heard the "supervisor" calling me a fucking piece of shit and saying to keep me on hold, I then hung up

I don't love England particularly, but I love these isanlds we live on/in. Anarchy means a belief that we could do without the state? When our elected state representatives hire without proper security checks men who may have connived at law-breaking and reuse to comment until forced to, when they break election pledges, when they thumb their noses at struggling, hard-working people and make life worse for the poorest, and weakest, among others, I wouldn't mind betting there are a lot of 'anarchists' out there. try the cease and desist route ask if the calls are reordced when they say YES, tell them good, so you can both be REAL clear that you do NOT want any more calls from them, and if you do, you will view them as harassment and ask / take her name down when she calls, adding that you will be SURE to name her should you need to sue IF they call again.References :

Told him good my lawyer is waiting on them, this is the 8th such call I have gotten like this in the last 6 months, first time to my home number generally they call my dad. With the mention of the lawyer the gentle hung up on me. Called the number and same run around as before refusing to supply documents supporting their claim. Told them that my Lawyer and I would be awaiting the legal documents. It is a sham, they claim to be with a pay day loan place, my lawyer has checked there is no court documents on file, it is a scare tactic to gather money from a debt, and since I have not had pay day loans in years I know them to be a sham.
