I received a threatening phone call from this number 1 206 420 6471.His name was jason,voice sounded foriegn.He said if i didnt call back,he wished me luck on what will happen.Tried calling it back an could not get through.somebody please try to find out who this is an arrest them.

This is probably one of those call centers calling you IF you had a PayDay loan of any type and have failed to make a payment for whatever reason. In my case, I'm sure this may be from Seaside Cash since I had requested that they change the dates that they auto-debited my account and they failed to do so. On my part...I didn't follow up...and in fact they did NOT change the dates...but for awhile the money was there (timing...just the way the dates worked out). But then they hit the date when there was no money. I called them and asked them why they did not change the dates? They gave me some yokey doke story. I asked them to change the dates immediately and they refused citing that because I had overdue/non collected payments, they could not change my account. As a computer professional, trust me...when anyone says they 'can't do something because the computer won't let them'...that's a LIE. Someone, somewhere has "supervisor" or 'admin' or "super-user" authority...whatever they want to call it...to change something. They refused and kept on attempting to debit my account on the old schedule which as of when I contacted them is not valid. So...I've closed my account. They didn't want to cooperate, so now to heck with them. I will pay them..but now, they're on my schedule. They're in Belize...so if they want to come get me....they should bring friends. On the other hand....I may go and get them :) Belize is very pretty; gorgeous women. I need a vacation! LOL. In fact, you can tell it's a script and /or same call center overseas somewhere because the verbiage is exactly the same. So...did a *67 to block my home number, called them and got someone who said they were Jason...but definitely NOT the person who called initially who had a heavy accent (the person who answered did not have much of an accent and in fact was somewhat understandable); I asked if he could indicate what company he represented, his reply was "no". So I said, since he wouldn't tell me who he represented, I would not give any information. AMF! (as in Adios....fother mucker!)

I returned a call to them after they left a message stating " I better not disregard their message" When I called and they said I owed money from some thing I never got, I asked for a physical address, and he said " f**k you bitch" and hung up on me.

Definitely unwanted and unauthorized telemarketing.
All of my phone numbers have been on the National Do-Not-Call List for several years now.
When I asked, he said he was from Smart Financial, and offering mortgage refinancing. He would not tell me how he got my number. I have not contacted anyone regarding a mortgage for about a half-dozen years, either.

Puerto Rican dude called saying that my brother was in grave danger and was asking for $3000.00 wired to them...if I didnt comply they would shoot my brother. I asked them to describe my brother and that is when i realized that it was a scam. The saddest part of this is that I called the Miami Dade Police and they said that this was a scam and told me not to worry about it! They said that it was a clone number and that they could not do anything about it. I told them that it was b***s*** because i redialed the number and I got the same Puerto Rican...If I can get in touch with the f***er how can the cops not be able to do anything about it? It is incredible that we have such a sorry a** police department that allows people like this to get away with stuff like this. In latin countries this happens a lot and this is called "Secuestro Express" (Express Kidnapping) they say they have your family and if you don't wire money, they kill your family. I cant beleive this is happening here!

Jason of Nationwide Compliance called asking for compliance manager, upon informing him she was unavailable he says "it will only take a couple of minutes", I say, she's in a meeting, "oh, she's in a meeting, well I just want to verify an address to send these to" I tell him he can leave a number with me and that person will be in contact, he says "do you know when she will be available" , not any time today, "will she be in monday", its possible, but I'm not sure of her scheduel, again, if you'd like to leave a number I will have her contact you. I was left a very disturbing message that an attempt to serve me a summons had been made by my local sheriff. The sheriffs office has no record of this and in fact, they don't even do that job in my county; third parties do. The person calling doesn't identify who they are with or what the matter is regarding. Isn't this type of activity illegal via telephone?

I got a Relay call (call using an operator for deaf or disabled people) today from a Jason claiming to work for Harper Diesel in Kentucky. I contacted Harper Diesel & they verified that this is a scam/spam. He uses the fax # of 877-543-9194 & 2 AOL email addresses - harperdiesel@aol.com & pwaltertech@aol.com. I have contacted abuse@aol.com & reported his email addresses to AOL & am posting this information here. He was looking for CUmmins Diesel parts. Please be aware. I also emailed him back letting him know that I knew it was a scam/spam.

They tried this one on me last year about this time and are dumb enough to try again this year! Don't give them any personal information!!! They are not for real!! Biggest scam going, think they can get you to give them money by using scare tactics and reading from a script that they say is an affadavit against you. The company they tried on me this year I have never done business with. Last year I went directly to the company they claimed was after me and they told me not to give them any personal information the payday companies were looking into this so called law firm and they knew it was a fake! Don't be taken in! Didn't work last year won't work this time either!!

Got a bunch of calls... looked it up, didnt find much so posting here.
Finally answered it, they were calling about health insurance I applied for about a week ago.
This guy Jason seemed kinda sales-y. By the time we finished talking he helped me with a solid health insurance plan for me, my wife, and my 2 kids.
His manager hopped on the phone also to answer some questions.
All in all, Id say it was a good conversation and I feel good about what i bought.
