Within 2 days I got calls from (425) 629-9412 and (425) 629-9286. I never pick up calls from numbers I don't know, so they would have to leave a message. At the first call someone was saying "Alex?" ... "Alex?", so obviously they do know my name - but nobody, who really knows me, calls me "Alex", as I do not abbreviate my name. And I do not know anybody in WA. So I called them back by using CallerIDFaker and changed my number to (202) 324-3000, the number of the FBI :) - just to see, who would pick up. I called at around 4 am Pacific Time, knowing, that I would get no answer or an answering machine. I did get a voicemail of a company called RPM. Never heard of them, so I will block their numbers. As all my numbers are also registered with donotcall.gov, which is why I will also file a complaint against them on their website (https://www.donotcall.gov/). Will post this message also on other junkmail-boards and hope, this information helps.

They call, never provide you with who they are other then RPM then they toss you into a limbo as they put you thru to their 'supervisor' I waited about 4 minutes then just hung up. Placed them on my reject listing but they average 6 to 8 calls a day never leaving a message the callers barely speak English and are very hard to understand. Rude, I agree.

GREAT IDEA! --- Try this - set up your call forwarding to automatically send their BS calls to some other phone number. Be creative - send them to another collector, sexxline, or whatever. I can do this through ATT; hopefully you can do it with your phone company. Call blocking could be useful too.
I got my current number about a year ago, and the collector's constantly try to contact the previous owner of the number. Too late for me to change the number. Luckily the phone is rarely used, and in a back office.

Received 4 calls from this number since Dec 16 2009. I answered it today. It was an automated message from RPM concerning my "business account." I own no businesses, so I knew this was probably a scam. It gave me this number: 800-618-6705 and asked that I called back immediately. So I did. It rang and rang and rang, and rang some more. Then I could hear the line switch... like the call had been forwarded to another line. After two rings, I think Latisha answered. I said that I got a message that didn't explain what it was about, and I asked who she was. She said she was from RPM, and asked if the number I was calling from (my cell phone) was the number they called. Yes. Then she said she was looking for a woman whose name I'd never heard before. I told her that she was not the owner of this phone number. Latisha told me she'd remove my number from her account, and that was it. If you google the number (and some variations: 7111, 7113, etc), you will find multiple comments about attempted fraud that this "collection agency" has allegedly committed. They never asked for my own information, but I wasn't going to give it even if they did.

Caller insisted on speaking with my husband who's currently overseas. He said it's about a debt he owes for a long time now. I told him to send a billing statement. He refused and said he will just call again. I don't know if the caller was telling the truth because as far as I know, my husband hates having debts.

Rude caller phoning at all hours! She's looking for a woman I don't even know. I already told her too many times that she got the wrong number but she never believed. What shall I do?

The stupid jerks from RPM called our home number 3 times and told us that we owe a certain phone network a thousand dollars. We've already verified our account with our phone service and we are debt-free so these RPM devils are just low life scammers still on the loose!

The phone number belongs to a call forwarding service used by RPM, a debt collection agency. Each time I've called back the number I've been placed on hold or forwarded to several other numbers before the call is dropped.
