This person, who spoke with a strong accent, left a message saying that he is an attorney representing the US Treasury, and that I would be arrested tomorrow if my lawyer did not contact him immediately about my tax situation. I have no "tax situation" so this is obviously a scam.

Tired of getting calls from them? Well just flip the script. Call them back...over and over and over again and as soon as they answer hang up. They will block your number after a few calls BUT if you use Skype not only can they not block Skype calls it's also free to do since it's a 877 number. I did this for about an hour the other day, as a stress reliever, and after about 5 minutes the annoyance in their voices as they answer is priceless!

469-208-0077- They threatened me with arrest and said I was guilty of fraud - (which I know that no lawyer would ever say before a case is tried by a judge...) and they said I must pay over $8600. I repeatedly asked for their information- location, names, etc. and they hung up.
This so-called "law office" called me today threatening me with arrest tomorrow for a fictitious loan that they claimed I took out and also for "fraud", if I did not repay over $8600. I know this is a farce because I never done such a thing. I turned the questions back on them and asked what law office they were from and they refused to give me the name and their names. I was hung up on so I called them back and they answered simply "law office"... This is a scammer company harassing several individuals, as I have read several consumer reports online. When I asked them for their info when I called back, they refused to comply with my requests and said I was going to be arrested for fraud. They read back my social sec number. I told them that stealing consumer information is illegal and scamming people and making threats with personal information is a felony. They hung up. I want to press harassment charges and want it known that they have access to my personal information. This phone number is local to Dallas, TX.

Us people who are just trying to google and figure what a niumber goes to, get scared reading these kinds of comments so we dont call back and you know what happens when you dont follow up on problems? no matter how long yoiu try to avoid them THEY WILL FOLLOW YOU and only grow bigger!- I got a call last week NEVER CALLED bc of this comments and you know what i got today?? A letter to appear in the state I no longer live in! This could have all been avoided if i called them right away!- Now i have my lawyer working with them to see if they will still let me take care of this outside of court.
