Recorded message telling me I've been selected for a Disney vacation package and it gave me a special claim number. It gave me the option to press 2 to be removed from their call list so I pressed 2. I shouldn't even have to press 2 as I am on the worthless do not call list.

Received call from this number. Did not pick up. Msg left says caller looking for small businesses to do work for government. I looked up this number - TONS of posts on it. Caller identifies as Federal Procurement Agency and sounds very suspicious. Other numbers it has used are: 888-286-5795 (tons of posts for this number) and 971-217-9516. From all the information posted, this appears to be phishing/scam - best to avoid.

I don not have any criminal case against me, or any upcoming court cases. I don't engage in criminal or illegal activities. I deleted message off my voice mail.

This is the phone number for Duke Energy. This was an automated courtesy call advising the homeowner that the date of meter reading and billing cycle will be changing on the next bill. This is accurate information as the same information was provided on our most recent Duke Energy Bill that was sent in the mail.
A word of caution, though. When I googled this number, I came across a Fraud Alert that is posted on the Duke Energy website. Apparently there are people misrepresenting themselves as employees of Duke Energy or contractors for Duke Energy. They are scamming customers through various means: claiming that service will be cut off immediately if an account is past due or offering to "help" pay balances. Duke Energy advises calling them to verify these types of calls and/or to report to the police. What a world.

Someone using the number 202 506 9563 threatened my wife saying they would come to our home and arrest her if she didn't pay them $35,000. They claimed to be agents of the IRS. We reported the issue to the FBI, the Treasury Dept., and to the FTC. We also called our local police who told us to call 911 should anyone approach our home following this call. These bozos will be met with deadly force by local law enforcement if they come anywhere near our home.

dynamic recovery is a "ZOMBIE DEBT" collector. its not on your credit report, but even 30 year old debt is kept by the mis-informed and often SCAM laiden world of debt collection.
the debt wanted by "dynamic recovery" was handled thru a bancruptcy over 20 years ago, yet even today it is still in the crazy world of debt collectors.
the best way to handle them is to report them to the BBB from the phone number's area code and always double check with a web-site like this to see if anyone else has had a phone call from the same number.

First of call, I'm on the 'Do not call list' so I shouldn't be on their call out list! Secondly, I'd be wary of any company leaving a message without mentioning who they are! Lastly, I don't have any credit card balance so where did they get my number from!?
