This was a recorded response system. I believe it's some sort of phishing scam as they are asking for some identifying information (DOB, any active military in family, etc.). Be VERY careful!!

Do not remember exactly what was on recording. From WN positions, while I was online I left my # concerning a job or finding a job. I have been employed for 5 yrs now & not looking for any job, so safe to say this is a scam for personal info.

I have not got a human on the phone as far as I am aware. I have called back repeatedly trying to. It's obvious as you say if you pay attention to the pause in the replies. As well, he says the same things over and can't reply to a question with a proper answer. I only get a chuckle which now I see is also pre-recorded when I call him a little B****. They as well have not taken me off their call list so I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Ahhh, it's another number being used by our favorite recording voice Joseph. I've finally figured out how this system works (took a few calls back to figure it out) It's a guy listening in while Joseph is talking, filling out the information you're giving him (I got him (the human) on the phone once - but he quickly tried to get off) but for the responses, they use a sound board where the human clicks responses to whatever you say...pretty decent recording actually - but it was the long pauses in between that gave it away...I'm going to keep calling back till I get someone on the phone that's human again. I encourage you to do the same - they're human and they're listening in - talk to them...

Same as other people have commented. Got the call, an automated voice answered and quickly hung up. I called back and an automated voice said I had indicated online that I was looking for a job. I would not give out that cell phone number to anyone. Don't know how they got the number. It said call back to be taken off the list. I did not go through the prompts, just hung up and entered the number as a contact so I would know next time not to answer the phone. It was a local number so I thought it was important.

When I answered an automated voice said "goodbye".

I called the number back and it was an automated message stating that I had taken a recent survey and was looking for employment.

I did not do any such thing.

Answered phone to a recording for lowering interest rates- hit 2 to speak to someone who hung up when I asked to be taken off the list. Called the number back and WN positions answering says nothing about lower interest rates- it is a fradulent job hunt front- the person who I stayed on the line to speak with also hung up when I mentioned the interest rate lowering and being taken off the call list.

Called my cell which I never give out to anyone regarding survey I filled out about a job, which I never did. There was a lot of dead air in response to my comments with this person. I asked to have my number removed from his list. Did yellow page reverse phone # and found out what town the number came from and found this page to post for others to beware here in Massachusetts.

He couldn't explain to me why the call was not supported by a letter, a web site, e-mail or any other formality.

Said he was calling to assist in finding a job in my area as I completed a survey (I had not)he asked if he could take some additional information and ask additional questions to help me. I told him no I had not completed a survey and would not answer his questions. Call was echoing my voice back in a time delay. It seemed like he was on the delay by his responses. I would not press any prompts or respond to anything

I Couldn't answer because I was at work. When I called back the recording said I was called because while I was on line I indicated I was looking for a job. NOT TRUE. When I asked "Joseph" how they got my number he said he just needed to verify some information to see if I was still eligible for the job search. I told him I didn't sign up for a job search and wanted to know AGAIN how they got my number. He said he was sorry they couldn't help me and wished me luck in my future endeavors!

Got a call from Joseph also said the same thing I filled out an online survey which I never do. Asked how he got the number and he hung up. sure sign of a scam. 404-953-5838 is the number called from. Called him back and asked again how did he get my number and he said again from an online survey. I told him he was lying and he hung up. I also noticed the the pre-recorded voice was the same as the guy on the phone. Appears to be a one man operation.

This guy didn't even address me with my name.

He said (in REALLY FRIENDLY voice):

Hi! My name is Joseph and I'm calling because you recently filled out an online survey...

I cut him off there, told him I didn't fill out an online survey, and that I don't have time for this.

The end

I got a call that rang once and hung up. So.... I called the number back and got told i clicked on a survey which i never do and i told the caller that and got hung up on. So..... I called them back and told the caller that they might want to listen to what i have to say before they hang up on me. The caller then tried to talk over me. When he shut up i told him that i knew they were calling from New York and that i was calling the BBB on them and got hung p on again. More people need to report morons like this. My friend had his cell phone nuber hacked from a company like this and they took his cell number when they did it. So beware
