I received a call from 202-350-2416 from a officer James Kirk of the Federal Investigation Department. He was saying that there is a warrant issued in my name because of some outstanding tax issues. When I asked him about his department and that there is no such department, he got nervous and provided some other official sounding numbers. He also said that I'd need to sign some papers and send them back and that police will come and talk to me more about this. At that point I said I'll talk to the police when they come and hung up.

The caller left a phone message sayings that I (never called me by nam) was in violation of a US law, never said which law. Also, that if I did not return the phone call, that a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I never returned the phone call. Four points here. The caller never clearly identified himself. The caller never clearly identified which government agency was involved. The caller never said which law was involved, and four, the caller never asked to speak to a specific person. More than one person lives at this address.
