If they say they are the IRS, you might want to call the IRS directly and first of all confirm the people calling from this number are indeed who they say they are, and second find out what they want diectly from the IRS. I have no problems with the IRS, and I know a couple online databases say that they are who this number belongs to, but I question that for a number of reasons:
First, I have done my own searches and the name comes up "unknown." I don't think an IRS owned landline would come up with "unknown" as the owner of the line.
Second. I've never known the IRS to call at night, on weekends, and multiple times a day every day.
Third, say for a moment it is indeed the IRS: why would an office of theirs in Seattle call someone over halfway across the country?
Fourth, why would the company not indentify themselves?
They may well be a scam. Don't give them any private information.
