they have pop ups on my computer stating I have a virus--DON'T LET THEM GET INTO YOUR COMP--I Didn't--now today I got a call--didn't answer--I have no virus

This was a cell phone
It was the old "we are from Microsoft and your computer is filled with viruses" scam.
I know my computer is clean.

computer pops with this number-stating Microsoft and virus--they want remote access to your computer--they try to scare you by saying you can't shut down and call this number--now they are calling my land line--I don't answer-these are dangerous people from what I've read---and all are foreign.
