This phishing call is the second in one day from an entity purporting to be the IRS about to institute a lawsuit for back taxes.
Earlier in the day call came a call from Bainbridge, WA from the same entity with exactly the same language in the robo call. In that instance I actually spoke with an operator with an ugly voice who spoke in an atrocious accent and even gave a name and putative IRS badge number. When requested that the debt be accounted for in print, the agent abruptly disconnected the call.
