The caller from phone number: 213-232-7900 stated that she was a State Investigator for case# 5452.
The caller also stated that she needed information to help her with the investigation like names of family members, social, phone numbers, current and past addresses.
This appears to be some sort of scam use for Identity theft.
In all reality, a State Investigator will not discuss any information pertaining to a case over the phone, nor will an investigator use their home phone for investigations, due to their own safety and security.
The number 213-232-7900 is listed, as a home phone, located within Los Angles California. If the Investigator resides in the State of California, where he/she is supposedly legally license to work and tries to conduct business outside of the State then they are considered to be in violation of the law.
Simply because, the investigator has to be license within every State that they conduct business in. If the investigator fails to obtain a license for each State they work in then the investigator runs the risk of imprisonment, as well as the loss of their license, in addition to the loss of their career.
Get this the mention case turned out to be unfounded (meaning no such case exist)
