A male with a strong Spanish accent said his name was Steve Martin and he was with the US Justice Department and I needed to call 213-455-2087 to provide information for grand jury investigation. He threatened that my failure to respond would be a criminal offense.

Left BS voicemail that it was the U.S. Treasury Department and he spoke broken english and his name was Steve Martin....really.Crap about appearing before a magistrate judge and grand jury and for I believe he said a "fatal" offense. Wow thats a new one. Said it was their second notification and said "help us help you". Yeah OK. Don't owe anyone anythin so......

They called and left message that they were the US Treasury and we needed to call back immediately an arrest warrant was issued for our arrest. Called back from number they called and they knew husband and wife's name and we were being recorded. Something about many letters sent to us and our accountant and one was CB503. Told him our taxes up to date.
Glad the IRS doesn't work like that.
