Started after I ordered something from half.com. They have the last 4 of my debit card and said I have a walmart gift card coming. The woman had an accent... strange.

I've been getting calls from two different numbers for the last 5 days, either robocallers or while I was at work and couldn't answer. After researching the numbers, came up with the same information that others give here. Guy called with an offer for a $120 gas card. Had the last 4 of my debit card. Guy wouldn't give me information on his company. Told him about the info I found, and he backpedaled REALLY fast. Told them to take my number off their list. Hope I don't get any more calls.

Calls are up to twice a week .... Calling advising of a $100.00 gift card ... has the last 4 of my C- Card....Then turns into a Magazine sales scam.!!
How do we make them STOP ????

Aparently this 'telemarketing' company has many numbers it can call from. To date I have blocked 5 numbers from them, ALL FROM DIFFERENT AREA CODES AND NUMBERS, BUT STILL THE SAME WOMAN WITH THE SAME ACCENT. And it is the same pitch about a Walmart gift card & they have the last 4 of my card. This started after I bought a Snuggies blanket online.

My boyfriend recently purchased a cat scratcher called "Emery Board" on the phone. First they tried to double charge us, but when I threatened to call the Attorney General, they backed off and only charged me for the one we ordered. Anyway, within one week, they called my boyfriend again, offering the free $150.00 gas card and only charging $3.00 postage. When they told him what the last 4 digits of his Visa Card were, he freaked out & hung up. This company obviously sells all kinds of online stuff and they are based out of Connecticut. This is really scary because once you order, they are not getting rid of your credit card info. They have been calling our cell phone for over 2 weeks now all hours of the night and day. I wonder if it is same company or are they selling our credit/bankcard info to only god knows who?!!!! Anyone have any advise??
