Initially received a call from 800-829-3676, asking to call back this 240-252-4274 number. Called them and asked them to confirm somehow they were indeed from IRS. The person with Indian accent started to yell and curse at me. Clearly, not very smart scammer. :)

I got a call from this number. My callerID displayed MARYLAND along with the phone number.
When I picked up, a recorded message played saying "This is IRS. It is very important that you call back thi snumber, otherwise, you will face legal prosecution for tax fraud"

I think this is a scam. I read somewhere tha the IRS have clarified that they only communicate by post and not by making telephone calls.
