As an experienced victim of harassment by unwanted telemarketing and scammers...the Do Not Call list doesn't actually seem to stop anyone from calling anyway. I guess there must be some loopholes in that system. Telemarketing: Recordiing that wants you to hold for a "teleconference" if you want to make six figured or to take your number off the list. This first part is NOT a live person but a recording. I don't know if opting out will truly take your number off their list and I am sure that there are probably NO guarantees that they won't turn around and sell your number to other telemarketing lists, but I suppose you could try should you get to a live human being. Got a call from this number with no message and called it back and its some kind of telemarketing. Look up of the phone number states Brooks Fiber Construction and its clearly not Brooks. Seems this Brooks Fiber has had several phone numbers for any yeard coming out of Michigan, but they do not or have not existed.
