This man called me threatning a lawsuit against within 2 days if i didn't pay this credit card. First he called me from a blocked number and all i could hear was the wind blowing in the phone it must have been a cell phne. he said his client is going to sue me if i didn't pay this balance on the credit card in 2 days. he refused totake any payments which i found very odd. once i got off the phone i called the credit union for the credit card and they said they sold this debt and they have been getting alot of complaints calls on this company Client Referral Services and not to pay them anything. i now have contacted the Attorney General in my state and the Federal Trade Commission also i contacted an attorney that is going to represent me for free and they said because i recorded the call we have a strong case in sueing them because he threatned legal action against me. actually they said he broke several laws 1.not stating who he was or that he was a collector 2.he did not advise me this was an attempt to collect a debt 3. he threatned legal action 4. he refused to allow me to make payments and once the attorney reviews the tape he said possibly more. now we will see who gets the last laugh

This company called me before from a florida number but today they called me from thisnumber 303 330 0439 and mr florez told me i had a cash store loan and they were going to take me to court he said the attorney was getting my file ready for court when i ask to speak to the attorney he said i could not which i found strange i know the laws and if i ask to speak to the attorney you have to let me. he then told me i could be arrested for bad check writing in illinois. speaking of illinois after contacting the Attorney General there in Illinois i found out his company client referral services is not even licensed to collect in the state of illinois the attorney general office said they were breaking the law by calling me about a debt and said i could sue them. they gave me sewveral phones numbers for attorneys that work to sue these companies and now i will be sueing them instead of them sueing me. funny how things work so if you get a call from this company client referral services call your state attorney generals office and you could also sue them if they are not licensed and if they threaten to arrest you. This low life people are breaking every law do like I did record their conversation and sue them they must be stopped
