Indian Accent and wanted to confirm I was the Licensed user and wanted to confirm this. My other phone was ringing and I just knew this was a scam and hung up

Caller with Eastern Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft calling because my computer was throwing off errors. He said that he needed some number on my computer in order to help me fix it. I'm pretty sure this is a scam!

It's a scam. Says they are from "Windows" and they detected a problem w your computer. It's a scam. I don't have a windows computer and there is no company called "Windows" the company would be Microsoft and they would have a Washington phone number not a LA 310 area code number.
