Female called twice and left voice messages indicating a lawsuit was filed against us. Stated to call back at 3155194066 asap. Repeated phone number. Good English by caller. No reason we should have any lawsuits so I blocked the calling number. Has to be the scam.

Called on 12/10/2015 indicated IRS has filed a lawsuit against me as a tax flaw. Also indicated a warrant officer is on his way to give subpoena to me. I need to pass my attorbey's information to him over the phone. I called my CPA and he said IRS never file lawsuit they only perform audit and follow a kind of lengthy process to get things straighten up. It must be a scam. And I can call (800)829-1040 to get all my IRS pending case status. I waited till 7 pm and called (315)519-4066 no answering machine and that number totally sounds a personal cell number. I believed it was a scam.

This guy called from Carthage,NY, identified himself as Officer John Smith with the IRS. He asked my name..I gave him a fake one, he told me that a warrant was put out for my arrest unless I paid some crazy dollar amount.He had a very strong Indian accent. I said. ..oh no, really. Mr john Smith. .I told him that this scam was all over the news and that he might want to lose his Pakistani accent and to eff off.
