An unwanted call from this Los Angeles number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, there was dead silence. This is the tactic of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who continuously troll the phone lines, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
The perpetrator has self-unmasked as Home Design Center, a known scam contractor, of whom there are many. The website www.whitepages.com tags this number as "scam or fraud." I'm soooooo surprised!!!!!!
